SLOPES AND TRAILS
Štrbské Pleso attracts with excellent skiing conditions with great slopes for slalom, downhill or cross-country skiing, with services of the highest standard.
Skiers will enjoy 9 km of snow-covered slopes this winter season, with the lower sections offering slopes for the less experienced and beginners. Solisko and Furkota are sure to please the professional skier.
Cross-country skiers will also find something to their liking at Štrbské Pleso, where cross-country skiing trails are available with a total length of up to 26.5 km. From the technically easiest for children and beginners to the difficult routes around the blind lake or in the Furkot valley.
Adrenaline lovers can visit the attractive snow park.
Štrbské Pleso is the highest ski resort in Slovakia and its charming atmosphere is also thanks to its rich history and luxury hotels.
CABLE CARS IN THE RESORT
Ski resort Štrbské Pleso offers 8 ski lifts / cable cars for the little ones, but especially for experienced skiers.
During the whole season, the 4-chair cableway Solisko is in operation, which takes skiers and pedestrians to the Solisko. During the winter Štrbské Pleso comes alive and fills up with winter sports enthusiasts. During the winter season there is also a 2-chair chairlift Mostíky, the Interski and Furkota chairlift. Smaller or less experienced skiers can use the Junior lift, the S lift, the Baby lift and the Snowtubing lift.
Štrbské Pleso is the biggest cross-country skiing resort with 8 professionally groomed 0.5 to 5 km long tracks. There are cross-country skiing tracks with the total length of 20 km. The so called SNOW area is supplied with man-made snow and can be used all winter long. Various levels of difficulty and several kinds of tracks will please both – beginners and professionals. You can run around to your heart´s content in the FIS area, relax at a slow pace around the tarn of Štrbské pleso or make a trip to the valley of Furkotská dolina on cross-country skis.
